Ceramics are used for the manufacture of screws, nuts and ceramic washers because of the following reasons:

• low weight
• working at high temperatures
• the lack of magnetic properties

Ceramic fasteners replace the plastic nuts and bolts successfully. They surpass them in strength and temperature range.

At the present time are available screws from M3 to M8.
